Realestate Stalker

Like many of you I spend time stalking real estate websites hoping to find beautiful homes and inspiration like this one. It is located in Hamilton, Brisbane and is a fine example of our early Queensland architecture.

I always like the height of the ceilings in these homes and the fireplace would be welcomed at this time or year! I love the chandelier and built in book shelves.
Love the white painted kitchen and the double hung windows - perfect!!

I love the stone work and french door features...just beautiful!!

...if only I had a spare few millions decorating this home would be a little easier than renovating my house!!

What a lovely house. I could cook up a storm in that kitchen and I love the stonework and french doors too. Maybe I should buy a lotto ticket!

Beautiful. I love the kitchen and the series of prints on the wall of the living room.

I noticed that the doors on the covered porch all have security grills on them (or is it just decorative?). You find that in older homes in Atlanta, homes that were built before security systems.

Thanks for the comments everyone!

Yes, I noticed the grills too. I think it is generally intended for security on our older homes here too. I am rennovating a 1930's home and I have just removed the grills from all the windows as I prefer to not have them.

Amanda this is just so gorgeous, and so unusual to see stone as the building material in Brissie. I am drooling over the spacious verandah, nothing pokey about this beauty!
