I love this light neutral room from Skona Hem magazine - the use of the layered linen on the table which provides a little interest in this neutral room - easy to replicate. These cross backed dining chairs are available in Australia and provide a lovely look against the linen.

Amanda this post has made my heart sing! We actually have identical beams here @ Reno. Castle which we've white-washed, so these pics have given me renewed optimism.
Now off to convince MOTH about the merit of those divine chandeliers -he wants something much plainer - yuk!

This room is just what I am trying to create at my house. I have those exact dining chairs which I just love, and very similar slip covered armchairs.
I think Millie is very lucky to have beams like those. I will admit to a bit of jealousy! I would love my floors to be whitewashed like those in your pictures, but don't think my landlord would be very happy! I will have to go back and study the pictures for some new ideas to include at my place.
