I came across the images of this charming boathouse while doing some international real estate searching. I think I have mentioned before that it is one of my favourite pass times....always inspiring! I love the french doors and the large deck which would be the perfect spot for summer entertaining. When winter arrives the living room has a fireplace for those cold nordic evenings!
I can imagine adding some colour and a few of my favourite fabrics to its interior spaces.
It would be delightful to decorate if only it wasn't on the opposite hemisphere to me....Ax

Hi Amanda
Imagine living right on the water like that!
I can smell the salt air from here.
I can't believe the French doors like that on a 'houseboat' / 'boathouse'.
It looks amazing to have such beauty with the windows and doors - when I first looked at the top photo, I honestly thought it was a house.
What a great photo find.
have a lovely day

Oooohhh I need to be there right now! How amazing would it be to eat breakfast/lunch/dinner overlooking that view?!
Olá!!!Seu blog é espetacular,sou uma super fã sua....tudo divino!!!
Um lindo dia pra vc!!!
Oh, how beautiful Amanda.....and, what a fantastic view of the marina. My husband would be in heaven sitting there !!
.......I have one thing in common with it.....I have those dining chairs only mine are in a lighter wood. I obviously have great taste !!!! XXXX
At one time I thought seriously about living on a boat which would be somewhat different than a boat house. It sounded so romantic, the smells and the close community of like minded people. I saw a boat house in San Francisco Bay that had been constructed on a kind of barge but it was entirely glass, roof and walls. Curtains provided privacy. But in a storm . . .?
What I wonder about is the maintenance on these boats. If dry land housing keeps you busy what must salt water be doing to your "basement"? Looks good in the picture though. Ann
Now that is what I call a boat house x
Well it wouldn't have to stay on the other hemisphere...as you could simply sail it right on down to ours!
When we lived in London we looked at living in a canal boat around Camden. Which was looking like a brilliant idea till we remembered that we had a toddler in tow, and didn't fancy the consequences!
This is one hell of a house boat - French doors and all. Stunning!
It does look great, very inspiring thanks for posting, inspired me to create a nautical-themed mood board and maybe even a natuical themed 3D room using http://mydeco.com/3d-planner/ thanks for that!
Wow, this is my kind of boat. Would love to spend half of my time here!

This is incredible! I would love to live there. I love how classy the inside looks, not what I would expect at all.
What an amazing view out those windows. I love it. It is such an open
