Happy weekend to you all...it is a long weekend here and so I am planning to get a few jobs done around the house. The landscaper has managed to finish my retaining wall amidst all the rain we have had this week and hopefully by next week he should have the paving completed as well. Hopefully we get some sunshine over the weekend to dry out all of the mud surrounding my home. I am really looking forward to being able to plant the garden. Have a beautiful weekend! x

The perfect shade of green and the perfect shade of blue in this picture. I am addicted to those two colors. They caught my eye right away, besides the fact that the dog is cute and I would love to have a glass of tea and enjoy the great view.

How awful what happened up there, so many properties being washed away. My two brothers and my son live in Queensland but thankfully weren't affected.
Our Premier, Mr. Brumby, should look into shooting some of that lovely Queensland water down to us in Victoria, rather than take it off us country people and the farmers who grow our food.
I love your elegant blog; very tasteful. I worked with paint, wallpaper, blinds, curtains as a consultant for many years and love decorating.
