Linen Chair

I find I am always drawn to either white or natural tone rooms - to me they are very relaxing! I love the way the linen has been used for this stunning chair and the curtains. It is a perfect look for our casual Australian homes and I know at Oliveaux we are now seeing designers using a lot more linen. This image is from Kimberly Seldon Design Group - be sure to pop over and check out her other stunning images.

Oh me too! Love neutrals so much. I am posting an award for you tomorrow on my blog. I am just linking it all tonight so that I don't have to attempt technical things at 5am in the morning when I do my blog post. Why are there not enough hours in a day?!! A-M xx

A lovely reminder that this is SUCH a good colour to use! As much as I love the white slipcovers on the chairs in our Sitting Room, the Man-of-the-House always puts a towel down first prior to plonking himself down!!

When its time for a re-cover, this is the colour I'll definitely use. MOTH will be very relieved!

Oh I love the neutrals as well for the furniture, and then colours in the cushions and other accessories. Only problem is I'm a bit clumsy after a few reds and my poor white slip covered sofa is looking a little worse for wear at the moment...... thankyou for all the beautiful things on your blog, so nice to visit!

kim is clumsy with reds - I can vouch for that! But I also agree ...love whites and neutrals. I am inheriting an electric blue couch that will URGENTLY need recovering in some soothing neutrals if I am to remain sane...!

Yet another fan of neutrals here :)

When my children were infants we had the navy blue couch. Now they are pre-teens I'm ready to go to the next step and purchase a linen couch. When they are late teens I'll move to white lol.

I bought some lovely unbleeched linen curtains from Ikea recently. I can't wait to purchase a sofa to match this gorgeous fabric.

I also love these new linens, and will be placing orders with you for a bedroom, I am presently designing. I agree Millie - think it is a look which is practical while still elegant for us females while keeping the men in our lives happy.
