It's starting to look a lot like Christmas!

On the weekend I was at one of my girl friends and she had just put up her Christmas tree. It was absolutely stunning. She lives in a Queenslander with lovely high ceilings and her 9 foot tree looks beautiful in the living room.  From the front of the house you get a glimpse of their tree.

What a truly lovely tree! MOTH's playing the grumpy Christmas Grinch at the moment & has banned me from doing any Christmas decorating until Dec. 1st! So it's so nice to see someone else's fun!

Such a pretty tree! I'm here listening to Christmas music and getting excited about the photos!!! I haven't celebrated in a few years, and really into the spirit.

Are you kidding? I have never heard of anybody putting up a tree this early. I thought putting it up at Thanksgiving was early enough, but the beginning of November, wow, I better get a move on. MB

Oh, now I feel like I need to get my act into gear! I started thinking about my Christmas colours on the weekend but haven't gotten any further!! You friend is so organised! I usually put my tree up on the 1st of December and I didn't realise that the 1st is looming! Her tree looks lovely!

Ah yes its that time of the year, I think my son will be asking soon to put our Christmas tree up too.
Your friend's tree looks so beautiful - love the colours she's chosen.

Your friend's home looks charming. It's hard for me to get into the holiday spirit. A week ago we were still dining on our outdoor patio, but that's over with now. Time to start baking and decorating.

Ouch!!! So early, huh? Well, although I love to decorate Christmas decors and all those stuffs, I decided to wait for awhile.
In Sweden, we use to wait our Christmas tree 2-3 DAYS before Christmas Eve, as we have a real one.

I used to put my huge one out in my open porch I had always a real snow. Your friends X’mas tree is wonderful & HUGE, indeed!
I can’t wait to see yours… Thanks for dropping my room as always.
Have a joyous day ahead. Am still at work and I guess your on the way to wake up now!

I agree that tree is just beautiful. Oh how I wish I had soaring ceilings. I usually wait till the 1st of Dec also as I fear I'll get sick of it by christmas day lol

Lovely tree and I always get excited when people position their trees where passer-bys can see them through the window. Ever since I was a child we used to count how many Christmas trees we saw when driving around (I think it started on long, dark drives around England visiting all the rellies!), and my kids now do it. Open your curtains everyone please!!!

Thank you for the inspiration. I have been anxiously waiting to decorate for Christmas this year for my 1 year son. Your post gave me the motivation to pay less attention to what others might think of me for decorating for Christmas before Thanksgiving. Of course we will be celebrating Thanksgiving, but we have no problem eating Turkey and stuffing with Christmas lights flickering around us. Happy Holidays
