Danish Style

I am loving this classic 1920'c home which features in Home & Gardens Magazine and
is located just outside Amsterdam.  Stunning front doors & windows with beautiful box clipped hedges and pots.

It belongs to Henk & Saskia Teunissen who own Riviera Maison, their home reflects their style which we are all familiar with in their products, timeless & comfortable.

They have cleverly hidden the TV behind doors above the fireplace.

Loving the kitchen and the black bench tops which was built by a local carpenter &  the white painted floor boards, it is beautifully styled in a way you would expect...

Love the dining area in the Kitchen. The gorgeous lights & the black cabinet.

A dream girls bedroom....

Could imagine sitting out here & relaxing with friends on the weekend....

I clipped out this home when I saw it too.
I'm am in love with their neutral color scheme. The wicker pieces add so much texture.
Don't you adore the kitchen? I have to use those grey linen shade in a project.
Those industrial lights look fantastic over the kitchen table.

Ah! too scandinavian style! It seems their style is now too popular round the world.

Simple but so classy.

I think the words 'Quintessential Style' are just perfect for this post Amanda. That cupboard over the fireplace in the Living Room hiding the telly is an absolute star!

I recently bought similar wicker pieces as in the dining chairs and the chair with footstool on the verandah. They are soooo lovely in their simplicity. I've only just stumbled across your blog, so I'm looking forward to reading through your older posts. It's wonderful so far, well done.

I am confused. The home is located in Holland and the owners also appear to be Dutch. Where does the Danish connection come in? Are they from Denmark or Holland?
