Desk Love...

I saw this beautiful secretary desk over at Pink Wallpaper. It originates as a flea market find and was given a coat of paint....so cute! I love the style & that it does not take up much room which would be a fabulous solution in my house where I do not have space for a designated study.

This would be so perfect in my little study - why don't I find these pieces at the flea markets I go to? I'll keep looking! Tracey x

Pretty pretty... the perfect place to write a letter and have a cup of tea.

I have an almost identical one (minus that gorgeous top piece) sitting beind the door in our spare room. MOTH brought it home from his Mum's house when she died last year & neither of us like the colour of the wood. Now you have solved the problem Amanda - can hardly wait to show this pic to MOTH when he gets home tonight.

I have a jumbly old bureau like this that I got for $20 a few years ago. Not even slightly as beautiful, but I love it none the less ... and of course, it too had the obligatory white paint job!

Perfect piece of furniture! I love it.
I can see that piece in my bedroom, used to place all my pretty bits, rings, bobbles, and other trinkets that I have is little boxes and bowls... placed nicely inside.

Amen, Amanda... would love to have a petité study desk but to no avail due to a space prob. This is really sux!

How I wish to have one for my daughter's room as we're now painting her own colour choice. Mum's romantic pastel design (spec. white---4get it) but might be black or purple, though.

Have a wonderful w/end Amanda, wherever you are. Just take care and live life to the fullest, as I always said "Life is too short"
