Loving...

The latest book to make it's way into my library is Joe Nye's Flair, a book of inspirational ideas and details which would make any event spectacular. This gorgeous chair makes such a wonderful statement in the entry designed by Nye. I always love his use of fabrics and colour. So after enjoying his book I have revisited some of his rooms from my files I love....

fabulous colours and fabrics are used in this raspberry and blue L.A living room...

A feminine bedroom which he describes as "Christian Dior in Palm Beach"

It's rare I don't like something, but I'm not a fan of the 2nd pic, maybe the painting?? BUT I'm loving the chair in the first pic - it's amazing - like a lot of your fabrics!! and the 3rd pic is just divine - CD in PB indeed!! LOVE IT!

I just adore the hot pink and white cushions on the pale blue sofa - it's a wonderful combination.

Love these images especially the bamboo chair in the Christian Dior in Palm Beach room. They are the chairs that were in the dining room of the Dragonfly Inn on the Gilmore Girls ( a tv show filled with fantastic furniture. Really)

Looks like a book I would love so I'll look into it. I need another design book like I need another hole in my head, but who can resist? Not me!

You nailed it! Our master has a calm & coool soft blue & white color scheme & I've wanted to add pink for a year now but always thought it would look like a baby nursery. Raspberry! That's the "grown-up" answer.
Thank you, and thank you for following me on Twitter.
Have a fabulous weekend...oh and Ralphs is fantabulous as usual.

I adore all the pops of colour in that livingroom. It's so wonderful when people take a small risk with colour.

I absolutely adore your blog. I am going to add it to the "blog roll" of my fledgling design blog (Rachellabelle Interiors). :)
