Paris shopping...
Like any girl who visits Paris, a day or two shopping is essential and I always include a visit to the French children's boutique Bonpoint in St Germain to buy something for my daughter. Even if you do not have a little person to buy for this store is worth visiting at least once just for the building and styling alone! Just like everything in Paris, it is so gorgeous......I love the floor!

I would love to have these floors, my image exactly. Wonderful site! A little envious of all who have been to Paris recently, even though I have traveled the world. A spot I have at the top of my list!

Loved it all. Why is it Parisiennes know how to merchandise beautifully without overwhelming?
Glad you enjoyed Paris. We are going again in April for 2 weeks and I can't wait. I discovered Bonpoint last time I was there. Gorgeous things. i don't have children but must have spent hours browsing through children's stores as everything is so exquisite. We just don't have stores and things THAT beautiful here!
Thankds for the memory!

Oh I love Bonpoint! My little hotel is very close and I always stop by (even tho' my girls are grown).
i adore their stores... the atmosphere, merchandising... clothing... lighting... it is all amazing... thank you for the great post.
isnt it crazy... you come home and wish you could find the perfect hot cocoa, croissant, french bread, pate, steak frites, salami, etc..... (notice all my items are food!)
glad you had a wonderful time... xx pam
So lovely Amanda, I would change my 5 boys to girls in a instant to shop here. Although they may have something to say about that!
Millie ^_^
When I was 7 months pregnant with my little girl, we stayed in Paris for 2 months. Let me just say, I visited Bonpoint every. single. day!
Oh I love Bonpoint.... I was in that very same store about 2 years ago...that very same little wood house was there... magic.. pure magic!

This is such a beautiful store and I love your photos...though I have to admit, I don't know how you got away with taking them! Last spring when I was in that shop, I got seriously reprimanded when they saw me take a photo with my iphone! They proceeded to follow me around the store into each room, watching me like a hawk thereafter...it still didn't ruin my lovely experience browsing.
