Winter Wonderland

Just thought I would send you a postcard from Frankfurt. I took this photo from my hotel room this evening - the Christmas lights are still up and with all the snow around at the moment it is truly magical (and cold!)....this lovely hotel is built around the original Gothic style home which was constructed in 1904 for an influential banking family.

Very pretty photo,I can only imagine how magical it looks in person. Make me think of the move "Sound of Music". My daughter and I just watched it last week, she just loves that movie :)

Oh Amanda,
That looks beautiful. As soon as the snow touches anything it turns it into something magical, although I should think that that scene would look beautiful, whatever the weather. Hope your trip is going well and that you are having an amazing time. Keep posting us your photographs. XXXX
