Functional beauty....

The idea of a utility room whether it be a butler's pantry or laundry room is very appealing. I love that everything is tucked away behind closed doors. It would be a practical space with beautiful charm and organised clutter displayed on open shelves - something like this one perhaps?

open shelves with some pretty (but useful) funds is the best. THis is a great room!

There's nothing I love more than organized clutter. It's so practical, and makes a home feel so lived-in. This photo is beautiful!

I love this room as it's something that looks homely, practical and stylish but something that most of us could achieve. It's not over the top and expensive. Lovely. XXXX

Such a fantastic idea. We have a utility room in our home in Marrakech but it's a sad place:-(

To have such a lovely utility/laundry room would be a luxury. We are in the process of a redo on ours but I'm afraid it won't be as fabulous as this. Great inspiration, you've got my wheels turning!

I love the pops of black and white in this sweet room. Speaking of laundry rooms, my gorgeous Oliveaux laundry Roman is being installed by your 'blind installer man' this Friday, Miss A. You must pop in and admire your handiwork! A-M xx

A bit crowdy but still not a mess.
But I appreciate that you are willing to tidy a hidden "utility room" where everyone just throw any kind of useless things.
Great work!

Yes, it's true! I love having a butlers pantry and being able to store so many things and when company comes, I can just shut the door...

It certainly looks prettier than MY utility room! Mine is more "utilitarian" I'm afraid. This was more feminine utility. I liked it.....:)
