Weekend...

In one of our conversations this week my Dad said,
"make sure your dreams become wonderful memories"

Hope you all have a great weekend and create some wonderful memories!

That's really a sweet words from dad. Hope your dreams come true, Amanda.

Like my dad said once to me when I was young "when you leave don't look back, follow the path and march the aisle of success, surely your dreams come true".

Happy Halloween, sweetie & many hugs from the chilly Stockholm.

A lovely saying with a lovely sentiment, and lets hope that we can fulfill it.
Have a wonderful weekend and I hope, not too scary. XXXX

I happened upon your blog via The Southern Housewife & just had to comment. What an endearing message your father gave to you. My father & mother were not ones to pass on deep meanings or heart felt messages. I find that people that were raised in such a fashion are often the most inspiring & successful adults. What a tremendous father. Please tell him I said that ~ xx deb

Thanks for visiting my blog.

I love what your dad said. I keep quotes that speak to me and will add this one to my collection.

As my parents grow older and have some health issues I like just spending an hour or so doing nothing important with them. I know it makes them happy to have a visit and company.

Have a wonderful weekend and continued to health wishes for your parents.

Amanda, when I just commented on your blog post I remembered the conversation you had with your dad about making sure 'your dreams become wonderful memories'. Perhaps this is something to draw on now that you are grieving your beloved mother.
She will be in both your memories and dreams - that way she will always be alive in a parallel universe.

Hopefully that thought helps a little.

Thinking of you!
