On the market...

Cedar Springs is a secluded home situated on 114 acres of beautiful Byron Bay hinterland. From what I remember this prestigious property was once owned by Paul Hogan (aka Crocodile Dundee). Approached via a long private driveway this home has been extensively restored over the past few years. Well I thought you may enjoy a peek inside...

the grand entrance and stairs....

the garden room overlooking the pool

the formal dining room...

This has to be my favourite part of the home...imagine relaxing by this pool. Well I would be happy just to occupy the guest house for a weekend.

More images and the floor plan can be seen here...enjoy!

The beautiful outside drew me to the amazing front door, then to that lovely staircase! It looks like there are some great gems in this home!

I always a know that an 'on the market' post from you will be great! Beautiful home. I love all of the arches - they define but keep things open at the same time.

What a fabulous transformation Amanda! I do recall seeing this house a number of years ago & it was not looking the best. And those views over the BB hinterlands are just breathtaking. Happy weekend to you.

It's funny but I wasn't taken with this house from the outside but I think that the interior is much nicer. The sweeping staircase is lovely and then the exterior, the pool and those magnificent views....i would kill for those views. XXXX

This is the kind of house I wanted when I am retired.

Remember, you're always welcome to visit the Philippines §;-) not too far from OZ land though.

Perfect for my taste.

Enjoy dreaming ladies and have a great week-end.

Hey Amanda, Great to sit down and have a good read through your blog. Wonderful inspiration to be found!

Oh, and yes, I would love a weekend in the guest house too... we're heading to Byron for a short break in a couple of weeks, but alas, we will be in a tent!
Take care, Georgina.

Reading this blog was fun! The pictures are fantastic! I know of a certain website which promotes real estate buying and selling in the US. You can sell and buy property through this company. Highly profitable foreclosure homes are available. You can buy homes at a cheap price. The discount varies from 60-80%. This company also invites more investors to join the business!

With only minor changes, I could move right in...and stay.

I'm loving that dining room table right now, we sent our whole dining set to an orphanage in Africa, but all your pics are gorgeous. Right up my alley.

I noticed you're from Brisbane, my brother & his family are up there about 1hr nw. Can't wait to go for a visit one day.
