Sneak peek at my kitchen...

I hope you all had a great weekend! I thought I would start the week off with a snap shot of my kitchen (taken on my phone...sorry about the quality). As many of you know I am currently renovating a cottage and the kitchen was one of the first things that had to go! I pulled out the original 1930's kitchen which was long overdue for an update. Although the space is still 'cozy' it is now a lot more functional and I enjoy cooking in it.

It does look lovely, and did I hear the 'cottage' word? I have an obsession with buying a cottage. When I do, I will need to come here for inspiration. Thanks for you lovely comments. Julie

Your kitchen looks great...working on my own too. I really love the marble counter top. I can't afford to do my own counter in marble, as much as I would love to, so I may do a small backsplash. Enjoy!

Love the marble top...
Christmas at the beach? Sound strange but just because in Italy we are not used to do it! It's always cold and if we are lucky it snows.
Many years ago I spent a Christmas day and the New Year's Eve in Miami with the family I live with...Nice memories!

Looks fabulous..., kind of what I want..., love the undermount's. We have torn out our 1930's kitchen but have not put the new one it yet -it's a hot plate cooking and grilling outside.

What a lovely kitchen. Just right for that cottage feel. I live in a Victorian house but my last house was a 16th century cottage. Love the antirrhinums. So pretty.

It looks lovely! I have the same pitcher/vase (I assume -from ikea?) and i get so many compliments. People never believe me that it was like $2! I think it's the only thing I still have from ikea and it's just great.
