Swidish Style

This subtle home interior was inspired by the beautiful Swedish antiques sourced from Loi Thai of  Tone on Tone in Washington D.C.  I love the simple style of the living room and its gray Silk drapes framing the tall windows and natural linen fabric on the sofa's. The timber shutters are antiques salvaged from a Swedish castle.

An 18th century swedish clock in the foyer.

I love the french doors which open into the living and dining rooms from the Foyer. The owners limewashed the floors in the home and painted the walls gray providing the perfect backdrop for the furnishings.

The subtle style flows through to the master bedroom.

A beautiful attic guestroom with its Pierre Duex Toile wallpaper.

Gorgeous lovely rooms - The Swedish style is so relaxing and tranquil for an interior and one that I am sure is easy to live in, xv.

Bingo! You like Swedish style? A very simple & classy, ain't it?

They love fresh light colours. As you know that up north is too dark during cold season. One of the reason!

Gorgeous!

Swedish design is incredibly beautiful. I was in Sweden last summer and visited an 11th century church! They found the original paintings on the wall when they stripped them to repaint. Amazing.
Congrats on your Washington Post nod!
