Lest we forget...

At 2.30AM on the 25th April 1915 the Australian - New Zealand Army Corps landed in Gallipoli, Turkey and suffered the worst military defeat in our history. Today this beautiful poppy field is far from the events of that fateful morning where many young men lost their lives.

It is here the ANZAC spirit was born...today we remember.

The red poppies in this field are such a fitting tribute Amanda to those beautiful young boys lost forever.
