I have been having a busy week and not had a chance to post until now - amazing how the work piles up when you have been away!! I am always inspired by the images and styling in food magazines. This kitchen belongs to artist Jules Francois and like most of us she has a love affair with all things food & french!
I love the collection of tins and cakes stands - many of the items are found at flea markets.

i have a weekness for old cake molds and cake stands, they represent home cooking and i will just pick one up from time to time. i don't even bake, i just love the design of them.
Lovely kitchen! I have a love for French things myself!
Thanks for stopping by... I think my son will be back in school tomorrow... thank goodness he is feeling better.
ohhh very fun blog. Love the kitchens. Found you through fifi flowers blog. Very creative.
Thanks for sharing.
Lovely Blog, I found you through Anna. The tin molds and cake stands are wonderful, I would love to see her art!
I just love STUFF for the Kitchen! I desperately need an overhaul of mine for sure! Delightful post!
Another lovely post Amanda, not only beautiful objects but the styling & placement is just gorgeous. What an artist's eye Jules has.

Thanks everyone - hope you all have a great weekend!! Amanda xx
These are all so pretty.. I love kitchens and food, of course. I love the cake stands and that picture of the teapot in the background....
Love the kitchen!! I have a weakness for old pastry tinware. One wall in my kitchen is covered with baking molds. They have such a beautiful patina. But for me, it has to be juxtaposed against something totally contemporary.
It's wonderful to find the beauty in everyday objects.
These cooking utensils look wonderful in this kitchen.
The cake molds look fantastic on the wall. So much better to display them than sticking them in a drawer.
