This character filled family home is located in Melbourne and has been lovingly renovated by its current owner Chyka Keebaugh & her husband. I adore the way the home is full of one-of-a-kind pieces which the she has picked up at flea markets from around the world. The simple furniture and abundance of character provides a lovely environment for displaying them all.
I love the white panelled walls and the metal wall sconces which are from Montreux. It provides a lovely backdrop for those stunning peonies.
A beautiful tablescape of glass ornaments catches the light from the window, I adore the simple touch of colour the green the plants add to the room. Stunning!
The master bathroom
I adore the private courtyard with its boxed hedge, pots & vintage cafe style chairs giving the yard some lovely character too.
Nice. I am so inspired by your blog. I found some grey/silver velvet on a clearance table at one of my craft stores and bought all of it in hope to re-do my sofa or something one day. Anyway, I was inspired by your Kobe picture with the silvery, velvet pillows. When or if I use it I will show the before and after pics. Thanks, Heidi
Lovely pictures. (I have the same cabinet in my house but it is not so "beautifully" gray. I think some serious painting job is coming into consideration.) Thank you for inspirations.
I have always imagined one day owning a house with a library and whizzing along on a sliding ladder similar to the one in the picture! I love the table scape with the glass and the greenery - i might need a conservatory in this dream house of mine... Clare
Such a stunning home! And I love her approach to decorating with flea market finds and other collectibles. It's the way I like to do it. LOVE the outdoor dining table!! Great post.
It's a very personal home, cozy and light at the same time. I spent 5 min. this morning just staring at the first image. Thank you for the inspiration.....Ginny

I never did see her on the morning show - always at work. But I remember seeing her house in many of the magazine's and always loved her style! I have a couple of cushions I bought at her store a few years ago - still love them!

Oh wow, I used to love watching her on Thursday mornings when Callum was a baby (he's now 5)! She always wore an initial necklace. Too funny!
Beautiful house Amanda. xx
I agree - The big cabinet is fabulous!
It is Chyka's house, I visited her store a few years ago but I am not sure if she still has it, does anyone know?

AHH I love it! I've always wanted a ladder and this is a great solution! Plus I'm short so I NEED one!

Beautiful home.
The neutral color scheme with hints of color is so serene.
I love the topiaries on the farmhouse table outside.
