A Copenhagen Apartment

This beautiful apartment has been renovated and styled using French and Gustavian pieces. I love how the couple have mixed industrial pieces with classics.  

The kitchen is beautifully made up of old furniture pieces with stainless steel & the addition of Tolix chair's at each end of the small kitchen table.

The entry hall displays the couples antique pieces.

My files are always expanding with beautiful white kitchens and this one is from Urban Grace Interiors.  The open shelves & its collection of china inject colour and make a lovely accent to this white kitchen.

I cannot believe it is already Friday!!  

I found these lovely images which are from old House and Garden magazines - the first one is 1963 & the second 1956. I find looking at past design images very inspiring.  Have a great weekend!

Today...

I love this image via  Domino - the collection of botanical prints and the everyday pieces displayed on the vintage side table -- I would love to sit here with a cup of tea and one of those books!

Friday Flowers....

Here are some beautiful flowers for you to enjoy this weekend - I love to have flowers in my home even if it is just one or two picked from the garden.  I plan to spend some time in the garden this weekend so that one day soon I may have enough flowers to pick and display like this.

This kitchen, designed by Lee Ann Thornton,  looks like it would certainly be the heart of the home - I LOVE the bamboo pendant light and the apple green accents.

The living room of this home is decorated using beautiful cool blue fabrics - perfect for a seaside home.

I adore the Chinese stool!

This would be a great spot to just sit and read.
